Air filter clogging: If the thermostat is not set to “on” and the fan motor is always running, the air filter clogging is the leading cause of the fan motor running all the time. If the airflow is restricted, the limit switch that senses the heater’s internal temperature may be damaged. Infinity Air technicians don’t just replace switches. First, they identify the problem. If the cause is a clogged filter, a technician will explain how to replace the air filter.

Motor capacitor problems: These problems prevent the fan from turning on after the burner is ignited. Capacitors are easy to replace, but motor problems may require a little more troubleshooting.

Motor failed to start: You may hear a squeak from the failed motor. A technician needs to take immediate action to prevent the furnace from breaking down.

No Ignition: In a spark ignition furnaces, a fast scale indicates that the burner is about to ignite. If it does not light up, the chimney may be clogged, the control panel may be defective, or the limit control may be inappropriate. Repairing or replacing these parts should resolve the issue.
